Portfolio of Platinum Prints by Arkady Lvov

Arkady Lvov was born in Odessa, USSR in 1955. He is a freelance photographer and printer.

He currently teaches non-silver processes at Pratt Institute and his photographs are in the collections of American Express, the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, The Russian Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia  and many private collections.

 

EDUCATION AND WORK

• 1973-74 Attended Repin Academy of Art, Leningrad, USSR
• 1984-88 Bachelor of Fine Art, Photography. Parsons School of Design, New York
• 1990 Established Platinum Lab; platinum printing studio
• 1992-2004: member of the faculty at Parsons The New School For Design, New York
• 1998-Present Instructor, Platinum Print Process; Maine Media Workshops, Rockport College, ME
• 1999-2000: Instructor, Platinum Printing, Toscana Photographic Workshop, Italy
• 2005: Established Platinum Editions, alternative processes printing service.
• 2005-Present: Visiting professor, non-silver photography, Pratt Institute, New York.
